How to find the club
FROM LONDON M 23 Southbound : follow the signs for Gatwick and Brighton
pass Gatwick and Crawley, continue on A 23 Southbound : follow signs for Brighton
outskirts of Brighton turn left join A 27 Eastbound to Lewes and Newhaven
FROM LONDON OR POINTS WEST OF BRIGHTON A27 Eastbound
follow signs for Lewes and Newhaven, along A 27 Lewes By-pass [ NOT into Lewes ]
continue past Lewes on A27 and over railway level crossing
at roundabout turn right on to A 26 Southbound : follow signs to Newhaven
Approaching Newhaven EITHER:
fork left. Follow signs to Denton. At roundabout turn left [A259] to Seaford
OR
drive into Newhaven. Under bridge and turn left on to : A 259 Eastbound : follow signs to Seaford.
[approx. two miles] approaching Seaford take first turning on the right towards the seafront, just before a housing estate on the right hand side of the road.
50 yards pass under railway bridge - follow road which leads onto the sea front. About half way along the sea front at the end of the recreation ground you will see a large white pub on your left at the Dane Road junction this is The BEACHCOMBER.
FROM EASTBOURNE: A27 Westbound follow signs for Seaford, Newhaven and Brighton
Pass through East Dean, Cross River Cuckmere at Exceat Bridge
Straight on in through the pedestrian lights. At the mini roundabout near the station turn left.
Follow the road round to the right Dane Road. The BEACHCOMBER is at the end of the road on your right.
PARKING: There is a large car park behind the pub off Dane Road or if it is full there is plenty of parking on the seafront.
